FEC-Free 60-Gb/s Silicon Photonic Link Using SiGe-Driver ICs Hybrid-Integrated with Photonics-Enabled CMOS |
Abstract | ||
---|---|---|
We report an error-free 60-Gb/s link driven by SiGe ICs using a segmented-electrode Mach Zehnder modulator with optical-domain feed-forward equalization and a high-bandwidth Ge photodetector, both integrated in a commercial photonics-enabled CMOS process. |
