Abstract
A new fault estimation and fault-tolerant model predictive control (MPC) scheme for a Steer-by-Wire (SbW) system based on a delta operator approach is proposed. A fault detection observer in terms of the linear matrix inequalities is constructed by means of delta operator systems to estimate the fault in the SbW systems.
