Title
Describing Services Geolocation In Iot Context
Abstract
The large number of devices connected to the Internet of Things creates an enormous network of resource sharing. Although, in a cloud computing setup, the geographic location of servers is not critical for application development, this scenario changes in a of consumer electronics network with edge computing. In this work we propose a model to describe the geolocation information of services in a network of consumer electronics. We propose a semantic representation of geolocation that is integrated into the Swarm framework, a middleware for decentralized cooperation of devices in the IoT. As a result, we created a reference implementation for the Swarm, and tested it using services in a consumer electronics setup.
