Title
Microscopic Tracking System for Simultaneous Expansive Observations of Multiple Micro-targets Based on View-expansive Microscope
Abstract
We herein propose a view-expansive target tracking microscope which can simultaneously observe large areas around the multiple target objects. We developed a view-expansive microscopic tracking system with a galvanometer mirror, a microscope, and a high-speed vision. The proposed microscopic tracking system can simultaneously track a microobject and observe its surrounding area of 1,280 μm × 256 μm, which is five times larger than the visual field of a conventional microscope with a 20× objective lens. In addition, the system can simultaneously track multiple target objects at different positions based on the quick movement of the viewpoint through a galvanometer mirror. The effectiveness of the view-expansive microscopic tracking system is verified tracking experiments of a paramecium and two paramecia, and imaging of their surroundings.
