Title
High Speed Force Balance Control Of Injection Molding Machine Using Equilibrium Point Movement
Abstract
This paper proposes a high-speed force balance control of an injection molding machine using equilibrium point movement. By heating the tie bars, it is possible to adjust the force balance applied to the mold plane at the time of mold clamping. The system does not have a cooling device; hence, cooling occurs by natural slow cooling. In order to address the cooling delay, the proposed system is controlled only by heating using control equilibrium point movement. The effectiveness of the proposed control system is verified by experimental results, and the response speed of the force balance is faster.
