Title
End-to-End Delay Model for Remote Surveillance over Internet and Mobile Networks
Abstract
A simple and novel modeling method for end-to-end delay of remote surveillance systems over Internet and mobile broadband network is proposed. It provides 1:1 delay, with maximum value range and its frequency of occurrence, while not depending logically on network access technology used in wide area network (WAN). NS-3 simulation showed that our proposed method could achieve performance features of the measured results in both throughput distribution and delay distribution aspects.
