Title
Asymmetrical nonlinear impedance control for dual robotic machining of thin-walled workpieces
Abstract
•An asymmetrical nonlinear impedance control (ANIC) is designed for a dual robotic machining system.•A comparison study between asymmetrical nonlinear impedance control and symmetrical linear impedance control is proposed.•The robots under the ANIC act as variable stiffness actuators to adapt the variation in thickness of workpieces.
