Abstract | ||

•Proposed feature selection algorithm was compared to 13 well-known algorithms.•Proposed algorithm based on the area difference was on the list of best three algorithms.•Algorithm based on Bhattacharyya distance showed itself as an unstable algorithm.•The highest accuracy equal to 91.6 ± 5.2 % was achieved by the proposed algorithm.•Fast processing speed allows using the proposed algorithm in real-time. |
