Title
A Thermal Analysis Method for Integrated Joints of Collaborative Robots
Abstract
The integrated joint has a broad application prospect in the field of cooperative robots. In this paper, aiming at the problem of joint temperature rising under universal joint rating, a series of research on joint temperature distribution and improvement measures are carried out, and a three-dimensional finite element analysis model of joint based on AnsysWorkbench is established, the steady-state thermal analysis was carried out, and the temperature distribution of the whole joint was obtained. The analysis results show that the temperature of the joint is stable below 50 degrees C when the rated power of the joint is stable, which indicates that the configuration has good heat dissipation property. In this paper, a method to reduce the joint temperature is proposed based on the simulation model. An integrated joint thermal analysis method for cooperative robots is presented in this paper, which will provide theoretical guidance for the design of integrated joint of cooperative robots.
