Mobile Digital Portfolio Extension
Abstract
Mobile devices and services have many potentialimplementations in the area of learning and education.The main advantages of these devices, namely limitlessmobility and small size, can bring new dimensions to thelearning processes of the students. Problem ProcessingAssistant (PPA) is a web-based learning tool thatcombines the characteristics of digital portfolios with thefunctionality of open problem solving and ideageneration tools. A mobile extension of the PPA tool isimplemented to enrich its functionality. With mobiledevice student can compose and read carry-on notes,which brings the PPA closer to the actual learningsituation. Extension is implemented using the MultipleRepresentation Mobile Adaptation (MRMA) framework.
