We present the design and realization of a two-handed input device that is dedicated to the interactive simulation of flexible objects. A set of symmetrical and asymmetrical bimanual interactions techniques has been designed and implemented in a VR simulation system that is used for routing design of cables, hoses and wiring harnesses. A preliminary expert review study showed the benefits of our approach. |
