This paper describes a diagnostic fault simulator forstuck-at faults in sequential circuits that is both timeand space efficient. The simulator represents indistinguishableclasses of faults as memory efficient lists. The use of lists reduces the number of output responsecomparisons between faults and hence speeds up thesimulation process. The lists also make it easy to dropfaults when they are fully distinguished from otherfaults. Experimental results on the ISCAS89 circuitsshow that... |
